A Message from Taylor
First off, thank you for visiting our site! Before you read any further, I should tell you that when I told my friends (about 15 years ago) that I was going into Human Resources, they laughed. Not because they didn’t believe in me—but because I didn’t (and still don't) exactly fit the HR stereotype- stuffy, intimidating, impersonal- the list goes on. That’s probably because my approach is a little different. I don’t believe HR has to be a buzzkill! Instead, I see it as a vital, people-centered part of any successful business—and I believe it works best when it’s built on empathy, collaboration, and trust. My first instinct isn’t to say “no,” but rather, “let’s take a closer look and find the right solution.”

I am a SHRM Certified Human Resources professional with nearly 15 years of background in several industries including hospitality, healthcare, and finance in roles ranging from Coordinator to Director. My career has afforded me the opportunity to gain experience in a multitude of HR areas such as recruiting and onboarding, compensation, benefits, employee relations, workers compensation, performance management, and more. My love for HR came from a deep-seated need to help people and businesses navigate the complexities of the ever-changing regulatory landscape that surrounds people in the workplace. I have been fortunate enough to test the waters with both corporate-run and small, family-owned businesses and found my home in the latter. I value the community connection that is naturally occurring in small business and the symbiotic relationship required to survive. That said, small businesses face the constant challenge of where to allocate their time and resources and, more often than not, HR does not get a seat at the table. This is where I come in! My aim is to assist small businesses by taking care of the background noise with efficiency and accuracy. I can help you manage policies and people so you can focus on the bigger picture. I look forward to hearing what I can do to make your work as a business owner just a tad less stressful!
